I officially rolled out my new blog today. I call it “Scott’s blarney”. Blarney is “amusing and harmless nonsense”. I think that’s pretty accurate, except maybe about the ‘amusing’ part. And sometimes the ‘nonsense’ part.
The trouble is that I can’t tell the difference anymore (and I don’t think most people can either) so I’m just going to throw it all out. Just ignore stuff you don’t like, or leave a comment. Or don’t—it’s all the same, right?
There’s a ton of stuff here that I’ve never posted before. Not that it was ever worthy of “posting” before… it’s just here now.
Here is my official stance. Sometimes things get a little personal, or a little philosophical, some technical things, questionable poetry, and unwanted advice. Occasionally I stumble across some pure wisdom. But that’s rare. Usually a mildly amusing anecdote, with a nugget of metacognitive naïveté.
Enjoy. Or don’t—it’s all the same. It’s just differing tastes, after all.
