Metrokane Power Juicer

We've had this juicer for a couple of months now and I like it.

Our little electric Black & Decker takes a lot of work (little less than hand-squeezing), but it does a fair juicing job. The Metrokane power juicer doesn't extract every little bit of juice, but nearly so, and it takes way less effort and time to get my citrus fix (too bad the recent cold-snap killed off all of the California crop, and too too bad that we can't get the sweeter Florida oranges out here in Utah).

I paid quite a bit less than retail for my juicer, so look around.

Fwiw, I have taken my juicer apart completely (no screw unturned) to clean it and lubricate it again. Mine was not shipped to me in perfect working order, but it is in good order now after a good lube and realignment (the rack & pinion box gets out of alignment sometimes--easy to adjust back).

One deficiency: the "feet" on the juicer give. After you've given a few dozen hard pulls on the lever arm, the base of the juicer becomes unlevel. It's easy to fix (just stand on the bent foot and push back on the juicer body), but disappointing.
