Monsoon Thai was rated "Best of Salt Lake" this year. The restaurant is nestled up in a large sloping parking lot. The veranda was closed for the season, but the inside dining was tasteful. The building was once a large and elegant house, which is now split between three businesses.

I had the beef gaprow (my bellweather for Thai) and must say that it fared as well as most of the other Thai restaurants in Utah Valley. It's a traditional stir-fry gaprow, with a bit more basil than I like (though it was good).

Ana tried the fried rice (safe) and we had spring rolls (very large and crispy rolls) and the vegetarian Tom Kha Gai.

Our server was attentive, prompt, courteous, but not intrusive or bothersome.
